江宁郡是南京在天宝时期下辖的一个郡，治江宁县（今南京）。

唐朝至德二年（757年）置江宁郡，辖境相当今江苏省南京市、句容市等市县及安徽省当涂县地区，属江南东道。

唐朝乾元元年（758年）改名升州。
